is the home of our new section, Play to Win! In this section
fans will offer other fans tips and tricks on how to win games.
But we need your help! Donate your suggestions, (just as the
one below) on how you think you can increase your odds of winning
by utilizing these strategies! E-mail them to

Win!"

Barker's Markers
How to Win:
Select the three prices that are closest together. That way, you will be
presented with a larger margin in the final selection. Ex: $1000, $1100, $1200,
$2000. Select the first three there, and then you will have at least an
800-dollar margin to guess from.

How to Win:
Each small prize's price is higher than the one before it. (eg. $12 -->
$27 --> $34)

How to Win:
The last number (or 2 numbers) in the price of the prize is usually 9 or 99.

How to Win:
Never be afraid to wait and let the rangefinder go higher (or the board rotate).
Don't let the audience persuade you into ending the game quickly.

How to Win:
Select digits that don't repeat in the price. It's rare to have two or more of
the same digit in any price.

Game: Lucky Seven
How to Win:
If the first number is a 2, it stands to figure that the second number is pretty
low, since 'The Price Is Right" seldom gives away cars more than $20,000 on
the daytime version.

How to Win: Try guessing somewhat intermediate numbers. 4, 5, and 6
are less likely to cause losses than 0, 1, 8, or 9.

How to Win:
In Magic Number the best way to win is to set the magic number between $1600 and $2000.

Sometimes the last two numbers are "El Cheapo," the lowest two numbers
on the board.

Whenever the wrong price ends in a zero, the zero is the correct number.

How to Win: The prices with a last number of
0, 5, or 9 are often correct.

Game: Punch-a-Bunch
How to Win: After careful viewing over the past few years, there
has always been a high paying price in one of the four corners on the board
(esp. the upper-right one). To increase your odds of winning a greater
amount of cash, punch out as many corners as you were awarded.
