Representing her home state of Michigan in the form of a southern California student was Katrina. Bob directed Theresa toward the camera that would get her full facial expression once our announcer Rich gives her the good news that, “you’re going to play Plinko for a chance of up to $50,000!” Theresa’s first two Plinko chips were dropped from both sides of the Plinko board, giving her $100 and $1000 respectively. Derek had seven out of ten chances to win the Ford automobile today. Viewers were not given their daily ticket information today, folks, and the same goes for Rich’s reminder to “stay tuned” for the second half of the show. Mia found both ends of the 2006 Chevy HHR’s price without ever finding a dollar sign, thus making this a perfect Money Game. After the trip to Copenhagen, Denmark was revealed, our host admitted to always pronouncing the name of the city “Co-pen-HAW-gen” before asking the audience if anybody has relations to Denmark. When Bethany was asked how she pronounces Copenhagen, a member of the audience pronounced the last two syllables “HAY-gen” before she did. Unfortunately, Bethany should have been “going to Co-pen-HAW-gen”, as Bob jokingly put it at the end of the game. It may be interesting to some long time viewers that Rich said, “we need a Janice” a second before calling her to come on down and Bob agrees that she fits perfectly in Contestant’s Row. Out of all the groups making up the audience today, including a group of ladies with hats (who were unmentioned on-air), there was a no other who can scream as loud as the trio of young ladies Bob gave mention to today. One of the CBS pages managed to receive a slap on the hand from members of Contestant’s Row for luck. Today’s Showcase featured a celebration of the Raggedy Ann doll, a Rocking Chair, a Chevy Impala, and a bunch of Towels to go along with the Hovercraft. We end today’s show with Derek celebrating around his second new automobile.
