After Barbara attempted to get on our host’s left side, Bob managed to hand her over to his right in what appeared to be a short dance move. “Fourteen”, said members of the audience chanting the first four digits in the price closest to the Chrysler automobile’s actual price. Unfortunately, Barbara never considered one price closest to the Jeep Wrangler that would have kept her in Triple Play. The price of the cleaner featured in Grand Game was quite a surprise for both McKaye and Bob. As Matthew ran over to the Turntable to play Flip Flop, he managed to kiss Bob’s right cheek, which is not viewed as lewd in some parts of the world. McKaye was close to becoming $5000 richer in Showcase Showdown #1, but the wheel stopped only one peg away from 5 cents. Marvin wearing a “55 Years with Her” shirt with an arrow was our hero for the day after his playing of Any Number. Schoolteacher and mother Melissa escapes Contestant’s Row at the last possible moment. Today’s Showcase began in almost complete darkness and ended with a Lincoln Town Car. We end today’s show with Jacob and “Something For Every Room in the House”.
