“Tomorrow is my Birthday”, according to Scott’s shirt on today’s show, which gave our host the opportunity to wish both the studio audience and home viewers an early happy birthday. Scott never finished his check, which may be acceptable on the show, but any bank teller would say otherwise. Staff Sergeant Robert of the USA’s Marines received a standing ovation from the audience after Bob gave mention to the ribbons proudly displayed on his uniform. Unfortunately, temptation never stopped Dana of Indianapolis, Indiana before going for the Ford automobile featured in the Pricing Game Temptation. Robert missed the first item’s price in Cliffhanger by 15 steps, but he managed to “proceed with caution”, as Bob would say. Barbara wearing a nice shirt with the CBS logo (including the abbreviation) joins Bob for Squeeze Play, where she unfortunately jumped to a quick conclusion on the two “9s”. After a successful win in the Grocery Game, Ashley unwillingly hit Bob’s nose as she tried to hug him, but no harm worthy of “worker’s compensation” was done. Carole of Contestant’s Row mentioned her son Rigel, who was on the show previously. Anthony the other half of a 56-year marriage to Lorena joins our host on stage as members of the audience chant “Anthony”. After a perfect game of Money Game and a commercial break, Anthony said he would give the Chevrolet automobile to Lorena, while he gets the one she’s been driving prior to today’s show. Today’s Showcase featured “Nosy Photos”, a convertible, and a jukebox that plays compact discs rather than records. We end today’s show in Ashley’s new dining room.
