Aaron may be shorter than his fellow members of Contestant’s Row, but a photograph of him playing his now “beloved drums” should be an interesting sight, despite the fact that he’s not a drummer, nor he’s loyal to Credit Card. Bob kept the show’s promise of “making people happy” by insisting that members of Price’s backstage staff return the latest prize up for bids, specifically for one Tawnda who just entered Contestant’s Row. On the first day of her 18th year of life, Norah proved her true loyalty to Price after her It’s In The Bag performance, but unfortunately her mother and grandma forced her to end the run for $16,000 out of their less than confident selves. No hard feelings by our young contestant or her family, $4000 is more money than most people will ever earn in one day. Both Tawnda and Norah would say hello to their crew back home before leaving Showcase Showdown #1 and the stage today. Thanks to frequent visitor and friend Robert’s advice, Jared managed to be among the lucky ones to come on down. “3” was Kelsey of Oregon’s unlucky number in a Dice Game playing consisting of the first “6” being rolled and actual boos from the audience at one point. Darlene sporting a hairstyle from times gone by escapes Contestant’s Row nice & easy due to her left foot recovering from surgery. Jared dedicated his Big Wheel spin to all the unemployed actors of New York City; Bob mentioned the ones in Southern California as well. None of our formerly best-kept secrets of the Southeast featured at the beginning of Aaron’s Showcase were devoured as Rich described these products provided by Krispy Kreme. We end today’s show with Kelsey surrounded by a large number of members in her Oregon faculty as Rich managed to come over to congratulate her with a both a handshake and kiss.
