The struggle Chelsea (or according to my ears previously, Jesse) endured as she escaped the audience for Contestant’s Row ended just seconds before Bob made his grand entrance. If only Rich had given Robyn the exact location of the Mexican city (not Mazatlan, which Bobs knows very well), she would’ve reconsidered choosing Maui as the trip with a bigger bargain price. After hyperventilating or so for less than a minute, Sandra finally managed to say the words Bob wanted the entire world to hear, “you’re so handsome!” After that amusing, yet lengthy moment, everyone in Contestant’s Row overbid before David eventually came through. “Well, you’ve got your thousand dollars back” was Bob’s reaction after finding another $1000 slip in punched hole #3, which forced David into not “going for it!” yet again and take the money. Chelsea forgot to include “numbers” when saying “Ladies, do I have 4 right?”, which can be excused by even the most loyal of Price viewers. It took one Big Wheel spin off for Chelsea to tie David’s Punchboard prize total won previously. It appeared Bob was going straight to commercials without any ticket information being announced, but managed to get his words right on the path toward information from Rich. Today’s show marked the first mention of our announcer Mr. Rich Fields’ day of birth, earning him both camera time for reaction and a great “Happy birthday, Rich!” from the audience. Squeeze Play was made easier today, as there were three “4” digits on display for Ryan, whose follower wearing what appeared to be a prom dress encouraged him (like 99.9% of the audience) to choose that middle 4. “Khalila!” says Bob when he meant to say Rich, but acknowledged that fact he was only practicing the name’s pronunciation. Neither Bob who mistakenly (and corrected) referred to a Barker’s Marker price unmarked, nor did the audience forced Sandra into making a last minute change, which would have been a terrible mistake. Yep, the same Sandra who said, “you’re so handsome!” back in Contestant’s Row managed to place a kiss on Bob’s cheek. Khalila escapes Contestant’s Row to pick only one Pass the Buck card, followed by 80 cents on the Big Wheel, and bare witness to a “Flight Attendance” Showcase. We end today’s show with the birthday boy giving Chelsea hand sake as he joined the entire crew in front of Exercise Equipment.

Not only our first prize up for bids was a swing, but a swing with canopy. That historic $6 bid of Monica’s didn’t stand chance against Wanda’s winning bid in the $1200-$1300 range, which won her way on stage for a game as Bob would say shortly “as you know”. Thanks to her 32-year journey and advice from her younger brother Lonnie, Wanda bearing pants with “Canada” on the back of them is taking a The Netherlands (or Holland to some folks) holiday. Good audience advice would go on the way side once Hannah had the opportunity of cracking a safe using the digits of a Food Processor’s price. The same Monica who placed a $6 bid previously escapes Contestant’s Row with a less than historic bid for some cube rolling in Bob’s latest attempt at giving away an automobile (with interference by a certain cube stick), plus plenty of amusing lines showing her hope & joy. After causing confusion down in Contestant’s Row, we would discover that Dorothy is the other half of a group of two. A Dining Room Group and Drum Set won’t be the only prizes Edwardo shall be returning home to Illinois with. Ryan who loves New York City (according to his shirt) and bid $1 was given the advice to sit down after the bell for a perfect bid rang, which was for David. By the way, the Turntable revealed Bonus Game in a side shot seconds before Bob and David arrived. After saying, “That’s Too Much” in a way worthy of audience boos, Marcela corrected her shout and found out she stopped at the right time. Hannah’s soon to be won Showcase featured cardboard cut outs of humans, dogs, and a box of eatable morsels. Rich managed to reach the door featuring the Trailer in the midst of an enormous number of crewmembers Hannah brought along.

Anyone happened to spot 2 fellows in suits in the audience? No need to check my VHS tape again, since they can be clearly seen a few rows from Contestant’s Row. Seema managed to encourage Bob to say “Hi” to her mother Mia, along with him jokingly saying “Mia, you didn’t bring her up right”. It was too late for Nicholas to change his choice of the Washer & Dryer having having the same price as the Drum Set. Bob even counted each drum (5) to figure out if they value up to a Washer & Dryer. Wendy was lucky her fellow contestants in Contestant’s Row all overbid, which gave her the chance to bid right on those 2 recliners. As Bob explained her current Grand Game situation, a majority of the audience chanted “ointment!” (Blue Star Ointment). Roger tried his best to calm the excitable Wendy shortly after her Grand Game victory. She has a good reason to be excited, no apartment rent worries for years to come. Yeah, and additional furniture too (as Bob suggested earlier). I must agree with the audience chanting “Seema!” before her Big Wheel spin, it’s as interesting as “Walburga”. I wonder if “Brandi” is the actual spelling of her name? Either that or she’s a fanatic of Price’s very own Brandi. If only she had seen her mother pointing up, Brandi would have won in Magic #. Emily managed to win herself some Cookware, aside from a Ford Mustang and a trip home in San Diego. James demonstrates his check writing skills in the Check Game, a game he actually knows. Brandi surprises all with a score of 95 cents in Showcase Showdown #2. Showcase #1 featured “flaps”, as in flapjacks cooked over not an amateur, but a professional range. Brandi conquers all odds in today’s Showcase and celebrates with her crew, including her “up pointing” mother. Yep, Mr. Rich Fields joined in on the celebration.

This particular Haily (another variation of the multi gender name “Haley”), who would become the first contestant to come on down and join Bob on stage happened to be the female kind. We were close to a Pricing Game error, but Haily re-informed Bob about the item she believed is priced half-off, which was correct. With only 4 boxes to choose from, the chances were very high that Box #5 would contain $10,000 in cash. Before Haily let her prize money our on the floor, Bob assured us that Stage 33 (including cameramen and the folks backstage) is ready for this moment, all except him unfortunately. Despite Bob supposedly left outside the up and ready crowd, Haily had the will power to set free the dollars in that box. Timothy of Contestant’s Row celebrating his 1st wedding anniversary admits that his wife in the audience is “the boss” both here at a home, explaining those bids before escaping for Ten Chances. Sherry has waited 32 years of her life to visit Price and she would leave us without forgetting to say, “thank you so much”. Timothy also admitted that he has no knowledge of Ten Chances, but at least he showed the knowledge of pricing a couple of prizes with only 4-3 digits to choose from. Unaware of what Haily’s score on the Big Wheel would surprisingly turn out to be, Timothy just stood under the scoreboard looking on and sweating. The lady in pink may have never escaped the audience, but her husband Samuel would and eventually he escaped Contestant’s Row at the same time. Kelli “Our Little Bride”, as Bob would dub the honeymooner during Showcase Showdown #2, took the narrowing down approach into consideration during Cover Up. For the 3rd time in a row, our next contestant to come on down was the next one to come up on stage. Musa now holds that title for today, but first he must focus on the game, which like all Pricing Games has its high and low moments. We end this abbreviated week’s worth of new Price with Samuel, his home crew, and the lady in pink giving Bob what appeared to be a kiss at the very last second of the show.

Among today’s first four contestants was a uniformed Chief Tami of the U.S. Navy bidding on a boat under the name “The Dink”, but this means of aquatic transportation would go to shopper Lakeisha. After proving herself to be the frequent shopper, Lakiesha assured Bob that she’ll “get to work!” searching for a kitten for that Cat Tree she’s the pride owner of. Chief Tami escapes Contestant’s Row for the Turntable at the sounds of her fellow CBs applauding. Her first card picked in Spelling Bee happened to be “23”, giving Bob the opportunity to acknowledge a certain Mr. Jordan for the number’s popularity. Thanks to a majority of the audience, Tami decided to risk it all on Miss Lady Luck, who, like M. Jordan didn’t attend the show that day. The word “AAR” pretty much says Tami’s outcome as Bob spelled it out. Bridgett the Bride escapes at the best possible time, because that trip to Boston won happens to be her honeymoon spot. Not even Tami’s score of $1.05 on the Big Wheel could be accepted, followed by Lakeisha going over, and finally Bridgett ends Showcase Showdown #1 only a nickel shy of a half dollar. Lilla (or as Bob and Rich called her on occasion, Lila) escapes the spot neighboring the likes of Brandon to become the latest Price bargain hunter. Like many other bargain hunters, Lilla just went along with the audience and won herself a unique chair in addition to a Grandfather Clock. Representing Ohio in pink, Korry in route to playing Any Number for a van from Dodge. In the end, Korry didn’t realize that the Dinnerware featured would add up in the $900-$1000 range. Before Brandon made his escape at last, Rich must summon a Ventta in addition to our current all male trio in Contestant’s Row. Brandon left the stage $100 richer, but he’ll probably receive a box of Pain Reliever free of charge, which he never picked to further extend his winnings. Future Boston honeymooner Bridgett’s Showcase was the latest edition of “Port O’ Price”, featuring a Day Bed and Piano on board The Price is Right Tugboat line up.

It didn’t take too long for the camera to catch up with Jacquelyn making the way to join her fellow first four contestants. Sylva of the “St. Louis Couzins Love Bob” gang may know the legendary Clock Game, but she would surprisingly admit to only knowing how to play it “sort of”. After narrowing down the Chaise’s price, Bob twice attempted to describe the moments leading up to this, but decided to quit while he was ahead. Giacomo may have won only 3 more Plinko chips, but he had an excellent “middle-left drop” strategy for the Plinko board, expect future Plinko players to be trying this $10,000 strategy in the not-too-distant future. After the first break, Bob gives mention to a group of uniformed sailors (including future contestant Lieutenant Andrew) and a lady in civilian clothing who managed to identify herself to Bob during the commercial break. Due to her lip-gloss and the high possibility of getting it on Bob’s cheek, Amanda resorted to requesting a simple hug, but in return all she received was “a shake” (which also gave Rich something to laugh about) as in a handshake for the rest of y’all. Yep, the Chevy Malibu Max won today is “all new” as Rich described it, excluding the names “Chevy” or “Chevrolet”. Before all 3 winners took a spin of the Big Wheel, Bob acknowledged the hot streak of winners since the previous show taped, which aired last Friday of course. Perfect timing to have a Utah contestant play Pushover for a Snowmobile, but unfortunately for Amy that vehicle cost almost $2000 more than originally thought. Andrew escapes Contestant’s Row for his latest assignment instructions courtesy of Bob. The mission of pairing items priced $3.49 was successfully accomplished without a mistake. Jacquelyn (requested to be called “Jackie”) representing a number of brides under Stage 33’s roof and bearing a purple “Barker’s Bride” shirt finally escapes Contestant’s Row to throw large red dices rather than roll. This acceptable strategy worked! Before taking a spin of the Big Wheel during Showcase Showdown #2, Amy referred to herself as the “loser” who ended the 2 day Pricing game winning streak, but that word wouldn’t apply no more after earning a spot in today’s Showcase. Here’s a rare find, the Trailer featured in Amy’s Showcase was among the micro variety. No Showcase overbids today, but it was Giacomo who prevailed at the end with a total prize package almost $56,000.

(Folks, after Friday's show I discovered some bad news on CBS' Price site, especially for those still sensing hope for the ailing modeling position. This Zubaydah turns out not the only new face this year, as Price viewers will be seeing a few more modeling around prizes in early 2005. I may not know exactly why the folks at Price must continue doing this to themselves and the loyalists, but I know that each change in the modeling position leaves a smile on the faces on a certain Holly, a Diane, a bunch of Fremantle Media heads, and maybe even a Claudia. Hang on and keep the faith folks, there's no way we're letting this continue on until Bob hangs up the long microphone for good.)

It was a struggle for Michelline as she escapes the audience row for her temporary spot in Contestant’s Row, but she managed to get out in one complete piece for not only that spot, but to give a fellow audience member a high five. As for Darryl, he didn’t quite make it to his spot before Bob made his entrance. During the first bidding process, the audience was beyond silence this time, a rarity in which Bob acknowledged of course. Our audience finally came around Price wise as Michelline made various combinations ($03 Salad Maker, I’m sure she didn’t mean to leave it that way) and overlaps during Make Your Move until the perfect audience reaction is heard. Darryl may have not been listening to whoever told him to bid $1, but $1000 was not close enough to earn the chance at testing his putting skills. The audience came for guidance for another contestant and that would be Duane on his way to the rarely played from Last Line in Hole in One. Before making his winning putt, Bob was up & ready to make his much anticipated inspiration putt, but due to a certain caddy tampering with his putter, he allowed Shane to imspire golfers for the moment. Remember folks, Hole in One is Price’s version of miniature golf, so don’t ever putt the ball as hard as our caddy in either game. Kimmy made her way around the audience to her spot in Contestant’s Row, but no encore performance. Price loyalist and Celtics fanatic (or specifically, a Bird fan) Sean went from “0” to “4” prices correct during the race every loyalist would want to attempt. So far, we have perfect show and Sean celebrating his day of birth has added a $1000 win on the Big Wheel to both today’s extravaganza and his gift package. Kimmy (another form of Kimberly) recognized that she didn’t want to be end up becoming the contestant to mess today’s perfect show, which never happened to her or anyone else. Sandra wearing a patriotic shirt successfully conquered the Card Game with only a difference in the $700-$800 range from the Coup’s actual price. Darryl finally escapes Contestant’s Row giving Bob the chance to welcome him (a Canadian) to both the USA and Price, earning the position of protecting Cliffhangers’ famous mountain climber, and capping off a perfect show. The “Fiery” Showcase Sean passed for one with the pair of cars featured bottles of hot sauce, a green fireplace, a trip to Tahiti, and a Mercury Sable. Sean’s Showcase bid didn’t have the chance to show up until after the commercial break. While both Showcase bids almost had a difference of $11,000, but it was Sean’s difference in the $9,000-$10,000 that won himself a “Match” theme Showcase.


(Next Thursday, as always Price and the rest of CBS Daytime will be pre-empted for Thanksgiving Day parade coverage, followed by the Indianapolis Colts confrontation with the Detroit Lions. On Friday, viewers who usually don’t get to see Price will have the chance what he or she during the past year. Speaking of “Match” as said previously, lower Alabama residents will have to chance to meet former Match Game panelist and author Fannie Flagg at a Sam’s Club book signing event, just an hour before Iron Bowl 2004.)

It appeared Arnetta was actually slapping her way on down too, but according to many other eyes viewing today’s excursion, she was actually landing some high fives on her fellow audience members. Before even realizing that a Buick Century was preparing to make its way on stage, Ann Claire already gave Bob the hug she’s been waiting for every since becoming a Price viewer. Like many other great Lucky 7 players, Ann Claire understood the situation between her, the last digit and that $1 she’s holding. This climatic moment would end with her getting that last number exactly right. After Summer and Cowboy the Greyhound made their world debut, Hashim escapes Contestant’s Row with a couple of leaps of joy in store. Once again, Box #10 was among the 2 boxes left in “Box Central” and Hashim, including the audience felt lucky about 10. Yep, even the camera fellow playing the role of home viewers (camera moved up and down) felt some luck in old 10. Arnetta actually took the Big Wheel very seriously according to Bob, so for the rest of Showcase Showdown #1 she was barefooted. We would learn that Hashim is the inheritor of his mother’s 30+ year loyalty to Price, whom he said hello to during his Big Wheel spin. Chicago’s very won Dennis (that was reference to WGN-TV’s slogan, in case you were wondering) decided not to risk everything on that $1900+ Lounge Chair before picking the Motorcycle, even though the former costs more than the Tea Trolley. Raymond joins Bob at last to show off his colorful attire and his Money Game skills. Jennifer the braided haired one finally escapes Contestant’s Row just in time to demonstrate her blackjack knowledge to the fullest extent. Raymond managed to topple each one of our previous contestants’ scores near the very end today’s Showcase Showdown #2. Now $1000 richer, Raymond tried to win himself a Showcase with a “Shake, Rattle, and Roll” theme, but it would be Arnetta’s excellent Showcase bid with a difference in the $700-$800 range that would bring out those tears of joy.

After successfully pronouncing Nanouschka’s name correctly, she managed to make Bob rather proud of himself. While he was proud, Bob admits to still having a liking for names like “Bill “ and “Don”, or in this case Donald of Contestant’s Row. Nanouschka’s escape from Contestant’s Row to land what she called a “big, fat kiss” on Bob created great anticipation from our announcer Rich and a fellow member of Price’s staff as they looked on. After years of being looked after (or “babysat” to some folks) by Bob on her TV set, Nanouschka’s Check Game experience began on a note of kidding everyone. Even though she never took the audience suggestion of $3000 into consideration, Nanouschka’s would have ended up with a void check either way. Among the audience today is a family spelling out with the letters (and heart) on the shirts is “Four Generations (Heart) Bob”, which received Bob’s “well adjusted family” seal of approval. We must wait until Sylvia representing the group is summoned and allow contestants such as Donald the break the streak of Plinko prize totals below $10,000. Before Donald received his 3 extra Plinko chips, viewers and loyalists witnessed one of the consequences (and that’s the truth) bestowed on Price’s modeling position. Not only did Bob have trouble referring to Shane’s name once in the past, but the one belonging to this new lady too. No mistakes were made during Kristi’s playing of Line ‘Em Up, neither in the Showcase Showdown #1 lineup. Members of the audience were actually booing Donald after beating Nanouschka’s score of 35 cents. Danyce managed to get both “Lose Everything” spots on the Pass the Buck board before becoming $3000 richer. Sylvia bearing the “E” shirt joined the Contestant’s Row “effort” of tying the all-time record of overbids, which was a complete success. Unfortunately for everyone and Bob looking forward to an historic moment, Chris broke the run for 5 Contestant’s Row overbids only to eventually remove the wrong number in Squeeze Play. Make that $4000 richer for Showcase contestant Danyce. My goodness, what a load Kristi has left the stage with!

(The name of the latest member of the critically ill Price modeling position is………Zubaydah! That’s right, like many well-known singers and cultural figures, this young lady is only known by her first name.)

Seconds after Price loyalist Cari’s bid and tremendous audience applause, the emergency alert system test was activated muting Price’s audio, leaving Cari’s victory in silence for Mobile/Pensacola viewers until Rich’s description of her future automobile. Our next contestant to come on down was summoned by the misspelled version of her last name and that happened to be Roberto. Bob managed to end Roberto’s sudden state of shock by “giving away another one of these”, as in another automobile successfully won. That’s right, someone whose television viewing is way below the national average has won Let ‘Em Roll. Cari managed to earn what Michael attempted to pull off (literally, he moved the Big Wheel shortly after stopping on a nickel), a $1.00 but no more than $1000. After the break, Bob acknowledged a mistake in the Showcase Showdown line up, which either way it wouldn’t have effected the outcome. After finding out that the Bar Set’s table is granite marble, Noah decided to pick the least expensive prize of all unfortunately. Newlywed Kimberly witnessed Bob’s attempt at making her chance of winning the last shell a climatic moment as audience applause managed to break that up. No broken climax by the audience as Bob lifted the shells for Kimberly, only to discover that she and husband Carson (along with pets Tiny and Banana) won’t be $500 richer. Leovardo (or Leonardo as Bob first assumed) demonstrated how even the toughest of the Navy would say, “That’s Too Much!” yet when his time came a whole different saying was still accepted. No mistakes in the latest Showcase Showdown lineup, folks. Noah took a peek at his group in the audience for a bid of $20,000, which he quickly changed to $15,000. After Noah went over, Cari would join her crew around the second automobile won. Shane didn’t run around the Crossfire again, in case y’all were wondering.

(Folks, have you noticed a difference in Price’s ill modeling position today? Not only did viewers witness yet another rotation, but also yet another new face with a name I must withheld until further confirmation. If longtime Boston Red Sox fans can “Believe”, so can Price loyalists in a stable modeling position, as long as it doesn’t over 80 years.)

Before barking can be heard throughout the audience, Kathy bearing the red shirt managed to come on down to her shirt color’s sake spot in Contestant’s Row. The job title of “Indoor Meteorologist” happens to apply to air condition/refrigerator technician James. Veronica missing her spot during the run to Contestant’s Row doesn’t even compare to what’s soon to happen on stage. After confirming for herself that Bob is as real as she is and not a cardboard cut out, Bob feasts her eyes on something else in the real category. Despite the audience’s below average advice, the curly haired Veronica was actually “going somewhere”. Yep, a return home in a Lincoln Town Car and no strikes on her Price record. Hoosier Kristen proved what a longtime Price viewer can do if she puts her mind toward it, plus some audience advice on purchasing 4 Maxwell House coffee cans and one Little Debbie snack. Not even our “spectacular winner” as Bob referred to Veronica was able to surpass James’ Big Wheel score of a half-dollar and 2 dimes. Michigan’s very own volleyball player Brittany escapes Contestant’s Row for a chance at a Mexican holiday at the sound of one particular camera shutter. Michael experienced a moment of unluckiness after picking finding out (the hard way) that today’s middle key is the one “that opens nothing”. Ukrainian dancer Ashley representing a group from Canada presented us a dance move after proving her bargaining skills. We were close to viewing a $6000 Showcase Showdown winner leap into the air, but Brittany’s bonus spin missed 15 cents at the last second. The missing digit in James' Showcase bid had no effect on today's Showcase outcome.

Our first bid of “100 bucks” (on Exercise Equipment) today was made James representing today’s first four contestants. Emily was the first among 3 players to escape the far right spot of Contestant’s Row. Due to an unfortunate move by Pushover’s price reveal, the trip to Singapore was given to Emily on account of the game’s error. Yep, Bob had the chance to push the blocks until $3659 showed up in the blue window. After the break, viewers just joining the viewing population were told of an exciting playing previously. “Come on!” says a member of the audience on the very small chance that Royce’s first choice of Honey Buns would cost 98 cents. Oh well, at least she has high hopes of conquering the Big Wheel after saying “I’ll be seeing you at the Big Wheel”. Seattle’s Alexander escapes Contestant’s Row for a chance at becoming a PT Cruiser owner. Near the end, Alexander managed to get the last two digits of the Globes correct. It appears Royce’s last words after It’s In The Bag were an understatement for what was to come during Showcase Showdown #1. Before reality stole Price from Central and Eastern Time viewers, Bob acknowledged the fact that our Contestant’s Row trio has been awfully familiar since Emily’s escape.

It appears our first contestant Vito has the power of “mass hypnosis”, as performed before the entire audience before placing his bid of $1200 on a Refrigerator. Deloris spared Bob of an even longer decision. Lindsay’s punching may have improved thanks to the Punchboard, but she would leave with a mere $250 less than the most she’s won in the entire game, which was $500 of course. Vito’s shout of “$1!” marked the beginning of an appearance filled with smiles and various facial expressions. “That’s it!” says Bob after the still smiling Vito finally wrote the correct price of $670 on his 10th chance. Not too bad from a fellow who’s only seen Ten Chances once in all his years as a Price viewer. Lindsay and Patricia’s Big Wheel spins began on a weak note, but those sort of spins worthy of the audience's boos would generate enough strength to create a 3 way spin off. Neither one of our ladies were able to defeat Vito’s score in the 80-90 cents range. As of today, Florence’s grandchildren (today is Veteran’s Day in the USA) know the story of how come their grandpappy and grandmama now own motorcycles. Deloris escapes Contestant’s Row to make some important decisions at the roll of large red dices. “It was not meant to be” was Bob’s reaction to Deloris’ unfortunate loss. No 3 way tie in this Showcase Showdown #2, just a showing a good skill by Kay. Vito’s Showcase featured “The Bat Diet” and a Trailer filled with food items such as Kellogg’s Eggos. We end today’s show with a Trailer gathering, Vito hugging Bob, and a close up of our Showcase winner giving a high five to a fellow crewmember.

Ryan the first to come on down today became the latest wonderer of the Golden Road. Unfortunately, the fellow with a strapped cowboy hat on his back never reached the end of a road of gold featuring an $80,000+ Trailer. The “pitter patter” sounds of feet Bob heard belonged to future Dining Room Table owner Angela as they walked over to the big door concealing One Right Price. As Bob was preparing to pull out his slip, Michael placed the bid that would win a $500 bonus. His historic Half Off playing and defeat did not mark the beginning of the end of Michael’s quest for big bucks. Michael won an addition of $1000 all right, but that would come only seconds after proposing to future wife Rose Mary, or Rosie as she likes to be called. Yep, he had the wedding ring too. Unfortunately for some, no triple Big Wheel spin off, nor any more marriage proposals, besides Ryan admitted to not having anybody to propose to. Sorry folks, Clifford of the Navy never revealed anything that would amount to great shock value. Phillip escapes Contestant’s Row to not only take a whack at Cover Up, but also take a “smack” at the back of Bob’s hand. Desiree had remained in Contestant’s Row so long, that her surge of energy was enough to bid perfectly for a $500 bonus, make a continuos sequence of jumps, and a run around a portion of the stage. Oh yeah, she managed to hug Bob while controlling her excited self. Desiree may know blackjack, but Bob taught her well about Hit Me. Our groom Michael’s Showcase was featured in Price’s very own shopping department via elevator. After Michael’s surprising Showcase victory, it was time to get on his knees and place the ring on Rosie’s finger. Traditional wedding music usually played whenever a wedding dress is a prize can be heard during the show’s final minute. We end today’s show with Michael & Rosie in front of a cradle. Yep, this marriage is going to last for many years and I wish them eternal happiness!

Sorry folks, this “Johnny” among today’s first four contestants is not among the “Moore” variety. Virginia native turned Arizona resident Emily tested her future automobile’s stability of carrying her new Kayak before trying her luck at keeping at least 1 out of 7 one-dollar bills. “Everybody think ten!” says Billie carrying a stuffed Texas long horn for luck before 3/4 of her Plinko chips ended up in the “$0” slot. After today’s show, expect Billie to meet Bob out in the Television City parking lot since she admitted on air to also being single & widowed. “Johnny the Anniversary Boy” escapes Contestant’s Row to extend his 32nd wedding anniversary as Catherine in the audience witnesses a possible quad of gifts in store. No more anniversary gifts, but attending today’s edition of Price will be something cherished between the couple for hopefully the next 32 years. We eventually found out that Billie’s stuffed Texas long horn doubles as a gift for Bob, no wonder she continued to hold on until her bonus spin of the Big Wheel. 3-year veteran of the Navy Eric (stationed near San Diego) surprised all that he actually works on nuclear missiles and he, along with his fellow crewmen actually play golf (see “Switch?” prizes) on a submarine’s stern. Kory Blackwell the latest member of Contestant’s Row appeared frightened in his group of Virginians (mostly female) back of the audience, according to Bob’s eyes. Handy binoculars were the latest items up for bids to come on down, from the ceiling to clarify for some. No more worries for Kory, as he travels back to Virginia alone in his brand new Pontiac. As for his Virginian crew, they’re likely to travel home by airplane. It was actually Scott’s mother who made him a Price loyalist, not the grandmas or even his buddy Sean who joined in on the journey to today’s show. Billie’s Showcase featured a telephone, Rich as a customer service representative, and of course the worried customer. Eric’s Showcase bid of $20,000 happened to be one “0” short due to an error, but it never changed today’s outcome. Billie earned the chance to say Bob’s daily reminder of pet population control after finding out Eric went over.

Bob referred to our first items up for bids as “the whole outfit”, as in a Drum Set and Symbols. The full names of Canadian honeymooners Mitzie & Jason (Cologne) will never be forgotten for 3 reasons. Mitzie never witnessed the Clock Game being played, she played the game like a professional, and it appeared she took the joke of a Pasadena, California Garden Shed's price passing for the homes there into consideration (only in the $2000-$1000 range before coming to $999). Price loyalist from Oregon Tinna may have lost what Bob’s been well known for giving away for over 32 years, yet she would eventually earn herself $1000 on the Big Wheel seconds after saying “Guys, I made it!” Unfortunately for some members of the Price viewing audience and herself, Gina never escaped Contestant’s Row for moments unknown (maybe even Bob’s latest use of the words “pretty little girl” or something similar). Today’s appearance of the Grand Game proves that King’s Hawaiian Bread is quite popular and more than ever since it won Kendra $10,000. Kenneth escapes Contestant’s Row at last to both address Bob as “Mr. Barker” and play Money Game. At the sounds of ever so many shouts of “$850”, John easily cracked (not literally) the Safe Crackers safe. Showcase Showdown #2 was Kenneth’s high point for one-lines, such as “Go over, baby!” seconds before John went over and telling Kendra that she’s already gone “3 Gs”. Well, it backfired for Kenneth at the end, but we must admit that he was one fun contestant for today. Kendra’s Showcase was dedicated to the number “8”, featuring prizes such as a Pontiac & its G8 engine. Mitzie & her new husband Jason shall return to the north of the U.S. with quite a haul, including a Garden House taking much of the weight.

No CBS News countdown today, just WKRG-TV5 testing the emergency alert system by muting Price’s audio only for about 10 seconds. Ermanno of Ontario (California) joins the site of today’s first pricing to exercise his check writing skills. After winning himself a rather large TV set (featuring a picture of Price’s Year 33 graphic); expect Ermanno to return the rope loaned by Price to prevent a possible automobile/television collision while on the road. Jeanetta (who finds Bob “awesome”) only won “the biggest prize” among the quad of Race Game prizes and that happens to be the Armoire. Yet another non-college student, Eric (like Ermanno and the University of California’s Trojans) happens to be just a fan of the Aztecs. When Eric called the On the Spot item Shower Radio just plain “radio”, Bob believed he was off his rocker. After checking with the staffers back stage, Bob owed our future Mustang winner an apology. Hope took Bob’s word of “well-organized young lady” when it comes to whether she’s “Coming or Going”, yet not even the namesake could save her. Julianna created a stir of boos among the Price loyalists in the audience after admitting to knowing nothing about the Dice Game, but she managed to make a small difference when she mentioned her love for Bob. Who knows how Julianna had played if she had previously known about the Dice Game? Genuine Pennsylvania State student and blackjack player Joel proved himself worthy of those titles, earning himself a Mexican holiday. Hope’s Showcase featured Rachel in the role of Leonardo DeVinci and 4 versions of his most well known painting. We did receive a CBS Heath Watch today, but only during the commercial break as always. We end this week’s shows with Hope hugging the bearded Rachel in front of the boat. Rich made it on camera just in time!

It was new homeowner Nathan who earned the chance of adding a Hot Tub to the house. Even if he had listened to Bob’s entire explanation of Freeze Frame, he still would’ve stopped the price rotation at the right point. No outrageous bid from John in this go round of “Items Up For Bids”, yet Ronald would take the liberty of escaping Contestant’s Row. Unfortunately for Central Time viewers, we weren’t able to see Ronald’s Half Off outcome due to Mr. Harry Smith of Old Columbia’s “The Early Show”. Canada’s Cathrine, whom Bob referred to as both a “pretty girl” and “our little friend from Canada” (after winning the Focus) earned herself a couple of grand USA welcome gifts. The Ford Focus and attending today’s Price (and meeting Bob up close as a bonus). Cathrine responded with a small “yeah” to Bob’s assumption of her returning to Canada with U.S. dollars before attempting to beat Nathan’s ¾ of a dollar score on the Big Wheel. Newlyweds Donald & Roxie joined today’s show as part of their honeymoon, but it was Donald who became the lucky one yet again. Shortly before purchasing items totaling between $20-$21, Enid’s red cap corrected Bob’s first glance of her representing “The Red Hats” gang. “See you at the Big Wheel” says our red capped contestant after an unfortunate end. Viewers would find out that Donald is an overall good fellow after his Contestant’s Row pep talk during the commercial break. Jennifer and her $500 bonus are proof that Donald’s pep talk actually worked. “Stop…..That’s Too Much!” says the young female who is actually “wild about Bob”, according to the shirt she’s bearing. Before spinning the Big Wheel, each of our lady contestants were given time to say “hello” to friends & family either attending or viewing the show at home. After Patricia, Bob said “hello” to his doctor before requesting hip help, giving the audience and Rich something good to laugh about. “You can’t stay there during the day”, says Bob after Jennifer asked for the length of Monte Carlo trip (6 days, 5 nights). Central Time Zone viewers once again lost a portion of Price not to Mr. Smith, but a Julie from “The Early Show” with a report even less worthy of breaking into Price with. Thank goodness Nathan’s Double Showcase win was never interrupted in the Central and Eastern zones.
