Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Plinko: Holly wins $3000 (3 Plinko Chips)

One Away: Edward lost; Ford Taurus ($20,720)

Flip Flop: Amanda wins; Trip to Chicago ($2578)

Showcase Showdown #1: Edward wins with 75 cents

Buy or Sell: Halcyon wins; Daybed, Air Hockey Table, and Bar Set

Dice Game: Benjamin lost; Dodge Neon ($15,125)

Hit Me: Ashley lost; Dining Room Group

Showcase Showdown #2: Ashley wins with $1.00 ($1000)

Showcase: Edward wins; Living Room Group, TV, and Grand Piano

Goodbye Art Sanders, hello Roger Rose! Bob didn’t hesitate at all when saying Holly, since there was a certain “Holly” on the show for years and suddenly destroyed pretty much the sanctity of the modeling position of Price (Claudia put the final nail in the modeling coffin). Oh well, at least we don’t have all-new models every week and I don’t find anything wrong with seeing different faces modeling prizes and items. Those were some excellent sayings “ladies, do I have at least (insert number) number right”, Edward. Sounded like Bob pronounced Edward’s home state of Florida as “Flora Dee”. “Halcyon” is definitely going on my list of “Contestant Names of the Year”. Hopefully we’ll discover and interesting guy’s name on the show later in year 32 of Price. Benjamin + Dice Game + Las Vegas – Knowledge of Car Prices = Priceless! The dining room group prize on Hit Me was provided by the Ashley Company, yet the lovely Ashley lost. Hit Me losses usually anger the biggest of Price fans, but not the one typing right now. Remember folks, next Monday’s show is the 6000th Price. Making up for her Hit Me lost, the lovely Ashley wins $1000 on the Big Wheel and walks with grace to the score display. We end this week’s shows with a big “Daniel Batchell, come on down!” from Edward calling his brother to join in on his victory. Meanwhile, Ashley walks off the stage with a positive look on her face. Show #6000 next week, only 4000 more ‘til around the 2030s. Suggestion to Price, in case one of the current models in the rotation (likely Lanisha) wants to leave to show for her reasons, look for someone like Ashley for that position.

Yep, a regular person with everything I described about Ashley above would be right for Price. See y’all later!

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Make Your Move: Danielle lost; Cooler, Serveware, and Trip to Scotland

Hole in One (or Two): Rebecca wins; Ford Explorer

Coming or Going: Adam wins by “Going”; Bed ($2883)

Showcase Showdown #1: Rebecca wins with 85 cents

Poker Game: James wins; Refrigerator, Guitar, Dining Table, and Stemware

Master Key: Christopher wins Vacuum; Sofa and Pontiac Sunfire

Freeze Frame: Wesley wins; Floor Clock ($3220)

Showcase Showdown #2: Christopher wins with 80 cents

Showcase: Christopher wins; Computer, Motor Scooters, and Trailer

For the first time since trying out for the announcer position, Art Sanders repeated a contestant’s name. Danny-Elle (or Danielle) applauded for herself each time after sliding a prize under the price she supposed in Make Your Move. Bob missed his inspiration putt, but that didn’t stop “Webby” from winning Hole in One (no “or Two” today, folks). If anyone from Price’s staff is reading this, don’t suggest to Bob to pronounce Rebecca “Webby”. Pronouncing Danielle “Danny-Elle” may work all the time, but “Webby” is likely to get old and tired out. “Weh-Becca” may work, what do y’all think? Poker Game returns to the set of Price! In the case of possible injury by Christopher’s wedding party, Bob had to get behind one of the Showcase podiums to continue his daily spade/neuter message.

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Credit Card: Brianna wins ($121 left); Food Processor, Dishwasher, Fireplace, Banjo, and Bistro Group

Ten Chances: Sheik wins; Waffle Maker ($60), Rocker ($810), and Ford Mustang ($19,840)

Cliffhangers: David wins (20 steps); Trip to Washington, D.C

Showcase Showdown #1: Sheik wins with $1.00 ($1000)

Push Over: Keri lost; Electric Cart ($7595)

Pass the Buck: Jeffrey wins $5000; Ford Escape

Most Expensive: Florence lost; Armoire, Sofa, and Dumbells

Showcase Showdown #2: Jeffrey wins with 95 cents

Showcase: Jeffrey wins; Bedroom Group, Luggage, and Trip to Singapore ($24,204)

Price is back in the Mobile/Pensacola region after it’s yearly day off on Mardi Gras Day. Nothing has changed at all after one day. Art Sanders is still announcing, the grinning Lanisha is still on the show, and the Showcase podiums remain the same. I have received word that yet someone else is up for the announcer position, who happens to be named Rich Fields. First Rich Burt (Burton Richardson) now Rich Fields (Richardson Fields?). The Sheik, or just plain old Sheik understood the rules of Ten Chances very well unlike many other contestants. I have yet to receive a reply from WKRG-TV 5 on why they didn’t air yesterday’s Price along with the CBS serials (soaps) during the late hours (12:00 PM-6:00 PM). One of these days TV5, one of these days!

Today's Airing of The Price is Right

Triple Play: Boyd lost; Dodge Neon, Caravan

Punch-A-Bunch: Rosemary wins $500

Barker's Bargain Bar:Anthony lost; Range and Dining Table

Showcase Showdown #1: Boyd wins with 95 cents

Double Prices: Lloyd lost; Trip to Ottawa ($5357)

Any Number: Anitra wins $4.25; Chevy Cavalier and Dinnerware

Hi Lo: Larry lost; Bedroom Group

Showcase Showdown #2: Lloyd wins with 85 cents

Showcase: Lloyd wins; Train Set, TV, Theater System, and Motorcycles ($24,823)

Due to WKRG-TV's coverage of Mardi Gras Day in the Mobile region and not even having the nerve to tape-delay today's Price for overnight hours, I forced myself to use Golden Road's long summary of today's show. They label shows they claim had no Pricing Game wins (there was a $500 win on the Punchboard) as "stinkers" and place "stupid bid" under contestant names who bid badly (I still prefer "bad bid"). Everything should be back to normal tomorrow morning, now if y'all excuse me I have an e-mail to write to WKRG on not including Price along with the CBS serials as part of "Tape Delay Overnight".

Monday, February 23

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Card Game: Camden lost; Ford Focus ($17,790)

Clock Game: Shirl wins Chair ($814)

Grand Game: Carey wins $1000

Showcase Showdown #1: Shirl wins with $1.00 ($1000)

Range Game: Frances lost; Entertainment Center with TV ($6618)

Cover Up: David lost; Pontiac Sunfire ($15,890)

Bonus Game: Christopher lost; Pontiac Vibe

Showcase Showdown #2: Christopher wins $11,000 ($2.00)

Showcase: Christopher wins; Golf Equipment, Trip to Monte Carlo, and Jeep Wrangler ($41,056)

The weekend is over and Art Sanders is still announcing, yet the grinning Lanisha is still wondering on the set. Our second items up for bids, a drum set was used for a little performance by Price employee "Head Grip" Jerry. My goodness Frances missed by only $2 in Range Game. Making up for her lost, Frances won $1,000 on the Big Wheel first, but Christopher managed to beat her in the Spin Off/Bonus Spin. Yep, the podiums are still as they were Friday. Don worry, you’ll get used to them, besides Bob’s hair was the only thing that really changed in the show's 32 year run. WKRG-TV5’s constant shrinking of today’s show for weather reports doesn’t compare to what’s going to happen tomorrow as they station gets ready to cover all the events of Mardi Gras Day, which means no Price for the Mobile/Pensacola region. Thank goodness for those Golden-Road.net summaries...

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Lucky 7: Julia wins; Buick Century ($22,582)

It’s In The Bag: Bayard lost $1,000

2 For The Price of 1: Christina wins; Banjo ($918) and Daybed

Showcase Showdown #1: Bayard wins with 90 cents

Squeeze Play: Bobbie Jo lost; Jukebox ($8995)

Switcheroo: Emily wins Car Duster ($27); Ford Free Star

One Wrong Price: Virginia wins; Exerciser, Cabinet, and Sofa

Showcase Showdown #2: Virginia wins with 90 cents + $1,000

Showcase: Bayard wins; Tennis Equipment, Golf Equipment, Camping Gear, Ford Mustang, Laptop Computer, trip to Nashville and Tahiti ($44,139)

Art Sanders has returned! Yet, he’s still kind of slow. Bob assured viewers through certain points of today’s show that we would get back on the winning track. An amazing second showdown we had today, with Bobbie Jo and Virginia both winning $1000 and competing in a spin off/bonus spin. Also returning to Price is the grinning Lanisha. Wonder how long will it take until they realize she’s no good at her position? Gasp! Another change besides the announcer and models, except this one will last longer. The Showcase podiums have been changed slightly. Now the price displays are above the name “Showcase”. We end today’s show with a double showcase winner, also known as Bayard. Amazing, a $100 difference!

Thursday, February 19

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Shopping Spree: Sherry lost; Baker’s Rack, Chair, Tea Set, and Chest

Punch A Bunch: Carol wins $500 (4 punches + Second Chance)

That’s Too Much: Cheryl wins; Chevy Impala ($21,595)

Showcase Showdown #1: Cheryl wins with $1.00 ($1000)

Switch?: Thomas wins with a “switch”; Desk and Dining Room Table

Let ‘Em Roll: Michael wins; Ford Focus

Most Expensive: Felicia wins; Trips to Seattle, New York,

Showcase Showdown #2: Michael wins with 90 cents

Showcase: Cheryl wins; Bedroom Group, Snowmobile, and Ski Equipment ($42,435)

Von voyage, Dannnnnnniel Rosen! From the second Cheryl got out of Contestant’s Row, Bob knew she could possibly cause bodily harm to him, which she came pretty close to during every one of her victory dances. Lt. Michael of the Navy bid $1.50, which sounded more like "a dollar fiddy". From hiding behind That’s Too Much to the Big Wheel, even standing under the Showcase Showdown score, Bob escaped her dances without any harm. Michael rolled only one cube during his first roll and gave us a big “whoot” during Let ‘Em Roll. Another day, another perfect bid! After her Showcase win, Cheryl held on to model Candice for about 10 seconds while checking out her prizes.

Wednesday, February 18

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Temptation: Amy lost; Pontiac Vibe ($18,615)

Bonkers: Donald wins (15 seconds); Trip to Ireland

Check Out: Richard lost; Dinning Room Group

Showcase Showdown #1: Donald wins with 85 cents

Barker’s Bargain Bar: Emily lost; Armoire and Cradle

Money Game: Tillman wins $168; Dodge Neon ($16,125)

Secret X: Mary lost (“X” at bottom); Wide Screen TV

Showcase Showdown #2: Emily wins with 80 cents

Showcase: Donald wins; Artwork, Kitchen Set, and Trailer ($43,058 in prizes)

Another day with Dannnnnnnniel Rosen! We’ve had a lot of perfect bids lately, didn’t we? What do you get with a washer + dryer that both look alike, Dana of “Extra” modeling for the day, everyone but Bob thinking that they know which is which, and both Dana and semi-regular Rachel speaking, you get a “Priceless” moment. Oh yeah, a lot of Contestant Row overbids too. Unfortunately Dana had to go after dancing in traditional Irish clothing during the reveal of the trip to Ireland. Everyone in Contestants Row was just fascinated by model Rebecca’s bracelet. We end today’s show with what appears to be Donald shedding a tear after removing his glasses. By the way, Happy Gilmore aired un-cut during USA Network’s “PGA Tribute to Happy Gilmore”, yet certain words beginning with “s” were still censored.

Tuesday, February 17

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Check Game: Stephen wins (check for $2601); Bed ($2783)

On the Spot: Raymone lost; Ford Focus

Eazy Az 1, 2, 3: Jessica wins; Stemware, Armoire, and Refrigerator

Showcase Showdown #1: Stephen wins with 80 cents

Side By Side: Janicka wins; Piano ($9186)

Grand Game: Richard wins $100

Dice Game: Sabrina wins; Chevy Cavalier ($16,216)

Showcase Showdown #2: Janicka wins with 75 cents

Showcase: Janicka wins; Cell Phones, Computer, and Ford F-150

Once again, another Check Game contestant that doesn’t know about the game. About 98% of the audience on that day knew about the game, according to Bob’s estimate. We’ve got ourselves a good look at Daniel Rosen as Steven came up on stage to play Check Game. The 89 years of age Christine told all her tale of getting to the show, which paid off very well. Now Janicka has something to play while singing the Gospel. The camera shy “Teddy the Dog” managed to show his face to all those watching.

Monday, February 16

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

One Right Price: Renee wins; Sofa and Home Gym

3 Strikes: Robert lost; Chrysler Crossfire ($34,916)

Plinko: Matthew wins $20,500

Showcase Showdown #1: Renee wins with 95 cents

Coming or Going: Kerri wins with “Coming”; Spa ($5334)

Pick A Pair: Tamara wins; Bedroom Group

One Away: Steven lost; Ford Escape ($19,614)

Showcase Showdown #2: Kerri wins $6000 ($1.00 plus 15 cents)

Showcase: Kerri wins; Cruise to Mexico, Pinball Machine, Snowboards, and Boat ($45,940)

Another week and we still have Dannnnnnnnniel Rosen to deal with until the next candidate for the announcer position arrives and gets added to the CBS.com poll for the viewers to help choose the new Price announcer. Those were very interesting reactions Kerri showed after her $1000 and $5000 wins during Showcase Showdown #2. Remember, the fate of whoever gets the announcer position of Price is only a few clicks away at CBS.com.

Friday, February 13

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Master Key: Lauren wins; Flatware, Pedestal, and Ford Focus

Freeze Frame: Brenda wins; Barrel Sauna ($5245)

Danger Price: Daniel wins; Cat Tree, Motor Scooter, Dining Room Set, and

Showcase Showdown #1: Lauren wins with 90s cents

Time is Money: Desiree wins; Couch and Stove

Ten Chances: Lauren wins; Pizza Oven ($50), Drums ($850), and Pontiac Grand AM ($19,580)

Barker’s Bargain Bar: Joshua lost; Cabinet and Dining Room Table

Showcase Showdown #2: Joshua wins 6,000 ($1.00 plus 15 cents)

Showcase: Joshua wins; Rolex Watch, Power Tools, Trip to Florida, and Chrysler Sebring

Just when Art Sanders was showing that he was excellent candidate for the position of announcer, we have to suffer through more shows with Daniel Rosen, or should I say Dannnnnnniel Rosen. We were on the verge of a perfect show until Joshua came long. We’ve had a pair of Laurens and Daniels (including our announcer). Bob was right, Joshua was really getting hot after losing in Barker’s Bargain Bar. Once again, Mr. Rosen said, “This is Dannnnnnnniel Rosen….”, he’s just begging to be knocked out of the “Big Four” (I predict Randy, Burton, and Art shall remain). I recently found that the 6,000th show is going to air on March 1st, so expect one spectacular show soon. CBS.com now has a poll for us, the Price viewers to vote on who would make Price’s best announcer (yep, the entire “Big Four”).

Thursday, February 12

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Step Up: Cynthia lost; Chairs, Tea Service, Range, and Dual Tricycle

Range Game: Joseph wins; Trip to Japan ($4056)

Pass the Buck: John wins $3000; Dodge Neon

Showcase Showdown #1: John wins with 80 cents

Safe Crackers: Cynthia wins; TV and Karaoke Machine

Cliffhangers: Carol wins (23 steps); Bedroom Group

Cover Up: Anthony lost; Jeep Wrangler ($18,465)

Showcase Showdown #2: Carol wins with 65 cents

Showcase: Carol wins; Exercise Bike, Sofa, and Trailer ($32,896)

Art Sanders was a little off when he said “Bobbbbbbbbbbb Barker!” but still has improved in other areas. John proved very well that he’s loyal and true to the show. Bob even let him have the “2” card from the Pass the Buck, which was used a good luck charm in Showcase Showdown #1. At last, a contestant whose favorite game is Cliffhangers. “He can move $18 dollars safely” Bob referring to the mountain climber. John wanted to change his Showcase bid of $14,000 after Carol’s showcase, just shows that even the loyalist of viewers can sometimes forget or just didn’t realize you can’t. End music was not provided by the “You Know You’re Lazy” Showcase folks.

Wednesday, February 11

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Swap Meet: Danielle lost (Swap Item Sewing Machine; Gumball Machine, Clock, and Popcorn Machine

Pathfinder: Matthew lost; Chevrolet Impala ($26,140)

Magic #: Michael wins; Daybed and Desk

Showcase Showdown #1: Danielle wins with 85 cents

Flip Flop: Elaine wins; Entertainment Center ($7248)

Grocery Game: Erika lost; Trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico

Dice Game: Melinda lost; Ford Taurus ($21,135)

Showcase Showdown #2: Elaine wins with 90 cents

Showcase: Double Overbid

Danielle wore a shirt which she says also belonged to her mother showed her status of being unemployed. $37 or $31 difference in Magic #, Bob will figure that one out later. Michael was the only one of the first three that made it on stage not to have a relative on the show long ago. Elaine (Iverson) and Elaine the contestant escort (second one as of recent) of the Rambling Rows Organization brought a plaque honoring Bob. “Danny-Elle” and “Er-Rika” Bob’s pronunciations of Danielle and Erika, well mostly for the former.

Tuesday, February 10

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Money Game: Maryanne wins $156; Pontiac Sunfire

Plinko: Adrianna wins $1000 (with 5 Plinko chips)

Barker’s Markers: Anthony lost; Motorcycle, Sofa, and Riding Lawn Mower

Showcase Showdown #1: Adrianna wins with 75 cents

Bullseye: Patricia wins; Dining Room Group

That’s Too Much: Jamie lost; Pontiac Vibe

Double Prices: Tammi wins: Floor Clock ($3435)

Showcase Showdown #2: Tammi wins with 65 cents

Showcase: Tammi wins; Computer, Kitchen Group, and Truck

Another day with Art Sanders as announcer! Representing the great state of Alabama (my state), Maryanne! Adrianna only watched the show occasionally, so that must explain getting her one of her Plinko chips stuck 3 times in a row. “1999, a good year” quoting Bob after mentioning one of the prices in Barker’s Markers. Thanks to a choice of two boxes of Tylenol, Patricia hit the bullseye on the first try. No “keep goings” or “higher”, but “yeah” when Jamie kept going moving on in That’s Too Much. The floor clock in Double Prices was revealed by the Giant Price Tag. We end today’s show with the music courtesy of the good folks at The Price is Right Fashion Show (Showcase #2)

Monday, February 9

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Any Number: Nicole wins Chest ($349); Chevy Cavalier ($16,180)

Grand Game: Christina wins $1,000

Most Expensive: Roosevelt wins; Bar Set (most expensive)

Showcase Showdown #1: Roosevelt wins with 95 cents

Push Over: Paula wins; Trip to Alaska ($4327)

One Away: Marlene wins; Ford Mustang ($19,478)

Joker: Jessica lost (Card #2 was Joker); Bed

Showcase Showdown #2: Paula wins with 90 cents

Showcase: Roosevelt wins; Living Room Group, Floor Clock, and Electric Cart

We began this week with Art’s second show as announcer. He may have improved his “come on downs”, but he’s still kind of slow before and during prize descriptions, such as the TPIR Tugboat bringing out the next prize and saying that it was still coming out. Joker, a game rarely played was not won! We have witnessed a "contestant escort" today! A first, according to Bob.

Friday, February 6

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Freeze Frame: Scott wins; Brass Bed ($3957)

Lucky 7: Allison lost; Buick Century ($22,862)

It’s In The Bag: Marjory wins $4,000

Showcase Showdown #1: Allison wins with 95 cents

Take Two: Debra lost; Sofa, Punch Set, Vacuum,

5 Price Tags: Dave wins (1 choice); Ford F-150 ($22,010)

Coming or Going: Christina wins; Trip to Portugal ($7,036)

Showcase Showdown #2: Christina wins with 80 cents

Showcase: Christina wins; Home Gym, Trip to Washington D.C., and Chrysler PT Cruiser ($34,169)

Burton’s out (for now) and Art is in as announcer! His voice is sort of a combination of Charlie O. and John Harvey, former announcer of Double Dare, only slower. Surprise, the Fiji Water was not 55 cents as I thought it was in “It’s In The Bag”. Shocking, isn’t it? Another surprise, in a good way is Dave’s only choice in “5 Price Tags” being the right price. “…day after day, month after month, year after year, century after century, millenium after millenium, I need more money call my agent” quoting Bob after Christina spoke of his work as host. Art ranks above Daniel is announcing, but he just doesn’t compare to Burton and Randy. Improvement is always possible as Art will be announcing on Monday’s show.

Thursday, February 5

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

The Golden Road: Scott lost; Dinnerware, Motorcycle, and Trailer

Eazy az 1, 2, 3: Nathaniel lost; Stemware, Bar Set, and Chair

Hit Me: Katherine wins; Bedroom Group

Showcase Showdown #1: Katherine wins by $1.00 ($1,000)

Barker’s Bargain Bar: Walburga wins; Grille and Dinner Table

Punch-A-Bunch: Rebecca wins $5000 (three punches)

Money Game: Jerry lost; Chevy Cavalier ($16,540)

Showcase Showdown #2: Rebecca wins with 95 cents

Showcase: Rebecca wins; Living Room Group, Wild Animal Book, and an African Safari ($27,154)

Walburga ranks as one my favorite names so far this year on Price, along with Ruklanthi. Bob really had everyone fooled that he was moving on after Rebecca won $5,000 and she waved the slip in the last hole she punched very quick to the audience. Another rotation, so we got Rachel, yet we still have Rich Burt (Burton Richardson). I still wonder where Colin and Jesse have been up to since around the end of last month. Leave a comment in one of my posts, fellas!

Wednesday, February 4

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right

Clock Game: Kristen wins Daybed ($832)

Plinko: Anne wins $10,600

Line ‘Em Up: Jay lost; Flashlights, a Juicer, and Van ($18,340)

Showcase Showdown #1: Anne wins with $1.00 ($1,000)

One Wrong Price: Sherry wins; Sofa, Luggage, and TV

Let ‘Em Roll: Joshua wins; Pontiac Grand AM

Double Prices: John wins; Computer and Desk ($5007)

Showcase Showdown #2: John wins with 75 cents

Showcase: John wins; “Train Depot Showcase” Dining Room Table, Floor Clock, and Snowmobile

Jay of Contestant’s Row claims that he’s been neutered. He’s going to miss so much, as Bob put it that way. Boy, CBS has been risky this week (I know, I know, taped before the Super Bowl! Jay promised everyone those flashlights, but failed to keep the promise as he lost in Line ‘Em Up. Yep, Sherry remembered her boy’s word on not forgetting her last name and the fact she’s would be on national TV. Future police officer Joshua was off and ready to drive his Pontiac after his Let ‘Em Roll win. Bob stumbled a bit over his words that the second Showcase Showdown is next, so he said it nice and slow. “Train Depot Showcase” conductor was Brandi (still on the show, thank goodness).

Tuesday, February 3

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right:

Range Game: Rebecca lost; Dodge Neon ($15,090)

On the Spot: Sheryl lost; Pontiac Vibe

Flip-Flop: Joan lost; Sauna ($4695)

Showcase Showdown #1: Rebecca wins with 80 cents (plus $1,000)

Race Game: Eric lost; Cabinet, Flatware, Cradle, and Refrigerator

Dice Game: John lost; Ford Focus ($16,325)

Pick A Pair: Katherine wins; Trip to the Galapagos Islands

Showcase Showdown #2: Eric wins with 90 cents

Showcase: Rebecca wins; Tennis Equipment, Trip to Vegas, Comedy DVDs, TV/with VCR and DVD Player, and Trailer

The pants were doing it again, so Bob summons staffer Robin to the rescue for a little spraying. Even called her, “the lovely Robin”. Joan may have lost, but she still gave Bob a Montreal, Canada T-shirt during Showcase Showdown #1. Georgia the Cat was brought out by Candice (another model). After Eric ran over to the turntable after his last pull in Race Game, Bob says he almost ran over to “The Bold and the Beautiful”. We were ever so on the verge of a no winner show until Katherine won Pick A Pair.

Monday, February 2

Today’s Airing of The Price is Right:

Clearance Sale: Andrea lost; Lawn Mower, Dining Table and Hockey Table

Spelling Bee: Gair wins (“CAR” card); Pontiac Sunfire

Switch? : Gerald lost with a “switch”; Popcorn Cart and Golf Clubs

Showcase Showdown #1: Gerald wins with 95 cents

Now or Then: Melissa wins (Then Sept. 1996); Living Room Group

Side by Side: Nicolas wins; Trip to Mexico City, Mexico ($2654)

Any Number: Alyssa wins Tea Set ($850); Ford Escape ($19,617)

Showcase Showdown #2: Melissa wins with $1.00 ($1,000)

Showcase: Melissa wins; Luggage, Swimwear, a trip to the Bahamas, and Jeep Wrangler ($29,650 in prizes)

More “ooooohhhhhs” than usual during today’s playing of Clearance Sale. Gair’s first card picked in Spelling Bee was the “CAR” card. Willa joins Contestant’s Row representing a family reunion. Bad move asking for agreement with the audience and Bob during “Switch?”, Gerald. The audience comes through in agreeing that Gerald shouldn’t spin again after getting 95 cents. Surprise, I’m back online after getting web access again.
